Arcimboldo, the vegatable man at the Luxembourg museum
In addition to the famous anthropomorphic heads created by the representation of vegetables, fruits and other natural elements, this exhibition tributes to that mysterious artist’s talent by presenting a large collection of his tapestries and graphic works. To be seen at the Luxembourg museum until the 13th of January 2008.

Famous for his irony, his originality, his sense of anarchy as well as for his interest for the paradoxes of the reality we are living in, the artist, specialized in the video and in the art-performance, creates for the Polish Institute of Paris, and as part as the International Fair of Contemporary Art (FIAC) a “lounge-trap”, where the audience evolves through conceptual sets which invade the space. Once again, the artist surprises where he is not expected.
