The course is addressed to 12 women journalists from the Meda countries (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey) and it aims to reinforce women's role as actors and promoters of intercultural dialogue. The complete training programme consists of a seminar in Naples, during which training will be given by journalists from the European Journalism Centre, and a 6-month long distance learning, during which participants will write for the website Euromedcafe.org with guidance from experienced journalists. The articles will be paid for and published in four languages - Arabic, English, French and Italian. The course is totally cost-free: Writing for the Web is part of the initiatives promoted by the project Euromedcafe and it is supported by Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for a Dialogue between Cultures.
