Hello there! My name is Sebastian, a former chef and now proud to be a tour guide in Egypt. My degree in Middle Eastern food brought me here, but it has turned out to be more than just culinary studies. And now I share all that knowledge of Egyptian food along with sharing such beautiful culture and history through guided experiences that are one of a kind. Between Cairo and Hurghada, I've created tours that tantalize all the senses. We surely visit all the must-see attractions such as the pyramids and ancient temples, and I take great pride in introducing into the heritage of an awesome country the visitors aggregate that most pretty up to seeing the wonderful wonders of Egypt. Somehow magical, like educating how to learn traditional cooking techniques with local families, or perhaps dining al fresco above a freshly caught fish dinner at the Red Sea in Sharm el-Sheikh itself, it would require exploration of an active spice market in Islamic Cairo. My excursions will include the normal sightseeing and a little food-tasting visit or experience. The morning may find us wandering ancient piles of stone, then onto learning how to make koshari with someone's mama in a cozy kitchen or baking fresh bread with a Bedouin family in the desert. I really think that by understanding a country's cuisine, you understand its culture and history; Egypt's food story spans thousands of years. Kitchen and culture make for a unique combination in my tours. From the street food in secret alleys in Cairo to the ancient Egyptian methods of farming-right through to taking sunset dinner cruises on the Nile-every aspect of the experience is a feast for all senses. Egypt has not only been the land of history, but it is the heaven for gluttons as well: how I would love to boast that the two parts of Egyptian culture intertwine.
