Erstwhile readers of this blog may recall that back in July I published a diary of my trip to Estonia - where I stumbled blearily around the environs of Tallinn in dire need of sleep. This Christmas, I am going rather further afield to spend two weeks in the USA. Starting out on my journey I am filled with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
