This blacklist of dangerous pesticides was adopted by the European council in December 2008. Now it is the turn of the European parliament to come to a decision about a legislation which is expected to ban the pesticides that are most harmful to your health. A lasting use of pesticides is only expected under certain conditions. 'We have taken this big step forward for the protection of consumers health and for the environment,' declares German green MEP Hiltrud Breyer, who is steering the discussions.
