East Side Story is a project started in September 2015 by young journalists (both professional and amateur) and observers hailing from the Balkan countries, Central and Eastern Europe. One of the gloomy by-products of recent crises has been biased, cliché-filled hysteria against Southern and Eastern European states. The objective of this project is clear: to keep the European idea alive through raising awareness, creating dialogue, exchanging ideas and reporting beyond mainstream media.
