PRIX EUROPA 2008 kicks off with Romanian Grooves, Hip-Hop and Soul

On 18 October the most important European media festival for television, radio and emerging media PRIX EUROPA starts in Berlin at 19:30 with the grooves of Miss Platnum. Tickets are on sale now! For those who can't come in person: the concert will be streamed on www.multikulti.de and broadcast live from 20:00 to 21:00 in Germany and is availbale via EBU Satellite throughout Europe.
On Sunday there are the main PRIX EUROPA festival sessions and special screenings all day of 28 short films about multilingualism in Europe nominated for the video clip competition "Languages through Lenses". The viewers decide who wins the Public Choice Award in the evening. The clip competition for film students was initiated in the context of the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue.
