On board the Aquarius: the challenges of filming on a refugee rescue ship

CafébabelFabien Guillermont is a filmmaker who uses his craft to shine a light on social issues that people are facing around the world, from the Mediterranean to South America. In 2016 he spent a month aboard the rescue boat Aquarius, which is managed by the NGO S.O.S Méditerranée, and produced a documentary about the experience. We met-up to talk about this and his other work.
