Cinema is made with moving images and sounds, it is a creative process involving many aspects and requiring all kind of different abilites. therefore we think that it would be fair to give an award not only to best cinemaography but also to best sound design and best editing. In the absence of specific prizes for editing and sound, the jury would like to make special mention of the exceptional work in both these categories in Oliver Laxe’s MIMOSAS.

BEST FILM AWARD OF THE RESISTANCES OFFICIAL COMPETITION

For the sensitive realistic representation of issues of immigration, gender, identity and contemporary conditions in Europe, the jury awards ‘Los Objetos Amorosos’ the FIPRESCI critics award for the Best Film in Resistencias Section.
DELUXE offers the winner director of the Resistencias selection the creation of a master DCP of his/her next feature film.
Also the Deluxe Company is awarding a special second prize consisting of the creation of a DCP (Digital Cinema Package) Master –valued at a maximum of €6,000- for the next feature film project by the director of one of the Spanish films that have competed in the Official Section, New Waves and New Waves Non_Fiction. On this occasion the jury, composed of the University of Seville professors Alberto Hermida, Samuel Fernández and Sergio Cobo –responsible for the Seminar on Spanish Cinema organised in collaboration with CICUS-, have decided to grant this award to:
