Lisboa, Berlin, Lausanne - Um futuro, um Amor

André arrived in Lausanne to study in 2006. Today, he works in Geneva but sleeps every night in Lausanne. Since 2006, Berlin is Célia’s second home. She studied in Eberswalde but every day she would go back to Berlin. They would have been neighbours in Portugal. André completed his studies in Lausanne. He brought an-almost-finished degree from Portugal. Célia continues hers in Berlin. She brought determination and the access to the university from Portugal. They see themselves as nearly national citizens in Switzerland and Germany. Both of them have promising professional opportunities outside Portugal. Both of them feel at home far away from home, far away from Lisbon. Lausanne and Berlin are cities where they recognize smells, foods and the weather, where they made friends, laughed, where they make projects and plans. These cities watch them growing. However, there are many daily challenges: saudades of family and friends (also living scattered throughout Europe), relationships that fade with the distance, and a sketched future that needs to be defined. Lisboa is in their dreams, as their third home, to where they wish to return. But a reason, a motive to return is missing. Both Lausanne and Berlin still miss a future, a love.
André chegou a Lausanne, em 2006, para estudar. Hoje, trabalha em Geneva mas continua a viver em Lausanne. Célia considera Berlim a sua segunda casa desde 2006. Estudou em Eberswalde mas todos os dias voltava a Berlim. Se morassem em Portugal, seriam vizinhos. André completou a sua educação em Lausanne. De Lisboa trouxe um curso quase feito. Célia continua a sua formação em Berlim. De Lisboa trouxe a determinação e o acesso à universidade. Consideram-se ambos quase cidadãos nacionais na Suíça e na Alemanha. As oportunidade profissionais são promissoras. Ambos sentem-se em casa, mesmo longe de Lisboa. Lausanne e Berlim são cidades nas quais reconhecem cheiros, comidas, o tempo. Nas quais fizeram amigos, sorrisos, projectos, planos. São cidades que os vêem crescer. Porém os desafios diários existem – as saudades da família e dos amigos dispersos pela Europa, as relações à distância que desvanecem com o passar dos dias e um futuro traçado mas ainda por definir. Lisboa continua a estar nos seus horizontes como a terceira casa, para onde ambos desejam voltar. Mas falta-lhes uma razão, um motivo, para retornar. Tanto a Lausanne como a Berlim ainda falta um futuro, um amor.
