Fashion Revolution day in greece
Published on
Fashion is a force to be reckoned with. It celebrates, provokes, and entertains. And, from April 24th 2014, it’s going to do even more. Because Fashionrevolution.org is turning fashion into a force for good.
On 24th April 2013, 1133 people were killed and over 2500 were injured when the Rana Plaza factory complex collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Social and environmental catastrophes in our fashion supply chains continue.
Fashion Revolution Day says enough is enough.
The goal of the Fashion Revolution Day is to inform and raise awareness so as before buying our clothes, to think about the stories of the people who make them.
What we can do?
To implement our plan for a better world of fashion, this year we will celebrate together on Thursday, 24th April, at Nixon Bar (Agisilaou 61, Kerameikos) at 20.30, wearing a garment inside out and pose a simple question: "Who made our clothes?" # insideout
How:
1) Wear an outfit from the inside out, photograph yourself and share on social media: # insideout. This will be livestreaming worldwide.
2) Start the "revolution" by honoring the victims and get informed about the major challenges at the fashion industry.
3) Spread this message to your friends and colleagues.
Dresscode: Inside Out Ticket: A ripped label from any garment ensures you a special price "inside out signature cocktail".
