The European Citizens’ Consultations are the first ever pan-European debate involving citizens from all 27 Member States to debate the future of the European Union across the boundaries of geography and language.

Come and share your vision on the future of the social and economic future of the EU: you have until the 19th of March to take part in a Europe-wide debate, on the question: “What can the EU do to shape our economic and social future in a globalised world?”. This online debate will generate 10 proposals which will contribute to the discussions held by randomly selected citizens taking part in the European Citizens’ Consultation on the 21st and 22nd of March 2009. These national consultations will simultaneously take place in all 27 EU Member States!
