As you may have noticed, our weather is now quite gray and boring, so maybe it would be somehow nice to spend time on interesting "inside*activities". That is why ESN-Erasmus Student Network launched a new competition: Are you ready to show your writing skills?
And this year thry have even some very interesting topics! The most shocking things I have experienced in TallinnComparing my home university and my Estonian universityThe funniest travelling experience during ErasmusWhat do I take back home with me from Estonia? / What will I miss? Applicants must submit an essay of maximum length 1500 words. Applicants must have been an incoming Erasmus or foreign student in Tallinn during the academic year 2008.The essay could address all aspects of your experience here, in Estonia. A very good essay should take into consideration the personal and/or academic influences during the stay as a student.
Essays must be submitted electronically to the board of Erasmus Student Network Tallinn ([email protected]) or brought to the members of ESN Tallinn directly.
The last date to send the essay is on November 25. Don't forget add your full name and your university in Tallinn! The first prize will get a dinner for two in one nice Old Town Restaurant and vouchers of Rahva Raamat book store for 750 EEK. Second prize gets a dinner for two in one nice Old Town Restaurant and voucher of Rahva Raamat for 500 EEK. Third prize gets a voucher for Rahva Raamat book store for 250 EEK.Certificates will be awarded to the best finalists.
The best works will be published in English on ESN Tallinn web page.
The 1st prize essay will be translated into Estonian and published
