Didier Reynders must ensure that the negotiations can resume

King Albert II asked the leader of the French-speaking Liberals (MR) Didier Reynders to ensure that the conditions are rapidly met for the negotiations to resume.
Still, the king has not accepted the resignation of the government and is taking a few days to reflect on it.
The CD&V and the Open VLD have indicated that they are satisfied with this nomination.
The Flemish Christian Democrats have insisted that the talks must resume on the basis of the proposals made by Jean-Luc Dehaene, which is Alexander De Croo (Open VLD) demand as well.
For French-speaking parties the proposals of former Prime Minister are insufficient.
The mission of Mr. Reynders promises to be difficult even if he has the support of everyone involved.
