...The immigrants living in the country of their former colonial occupiers were making a stand against widespread poll-rigging reported to have taken place in Congo's recent elections. The opposition in the Democratic Republic of Congo are refusing to recognize “re-elected” President Joseph Kabila. The main challenger in Congo's election had declared himself president on Friday and poured scorn on provisional official results which declared victory for incumbent Kabila.
