on August 15th, 1 p.m., with András Lovasi from Kispál és a Borz (Hun)

As usual, we will wait participants of the noon-talk with coffee and cakes.

On August 16th, 2.30 p.m. a huge debate of young Europeans will be organised by cafebabel.com Budapest team on the following topic:

'illegal' music-downloading and file-sharing and their sanctions

Background info:

After the well-known lawsuit of the torrent-site called Pirate Bay the problem - that has faced all young people who are listening to music - has arisen again. The best place to talk about this issue is the Sziget Festival in Budapest where young people devote one week in every year to cultural programs and music. Cafebabel.com as one the most visible channel of European dialogue sets store by foreshowing all of the important aspects to the audience and performers of the Festival. During the one and a half hour long conversation four guest speakers will share their view on the topic and we are expecting about 80-100 people.

Members of the panel will be:

Veronika Harcsa, jazz singer

Balázs Bodó, media researcher

from ProArt

Zoltán Ormós, lawyer (tbc)

The language of the debate will be Hungarian.
