Cafebabel Brussels' team is the largest local team in the Babel family based on both volunteers and permanent staff. It is famous for its regular and interactive debates on European topics as well as for its multicultural team.
This is a unique chance to work in a dynamic team with young professionals, who aim to provide a platform to European leaders to meet with young Europeans based in Brussels.

Key responsibilities: being an event moderator involves a wide variety of tasks. The event moderator will work under the guidance and in close cooperation with the executive board.
Identifying themes of debate according to European current issues Organisation of debates and events and development of ongoing projects and partnerships Moderation of debates Developing communication campaigns
Knowledge and experience:
Strong interest in European affairs Strong organizational skills, and preferably some experience in event management Excellent IT skills (web management skills, photoshop, MS Office) Administrative skills in an office environment Background in journalism, linguistic studies, social sciences, such as political science, development studies or international relations, economics or law an assetPersonal skills
Team player, reliable, with an eye for detail, not afraid to take initiative, resourceful Ability to work in a multicultural team as well as independently Self-starter; stress-resistantLinguistic skills:
