Belgian government on hold while the King consults

King Albert II has not yet commented on the resignation of the Belgian government and asked the President of the House of Representatives Patrick Dewael (Open VLD) to come to the Royal Palace. A Plenary session was scheduled at the House 2PM. The Prime minister Yves Leterme was supposedly going to present a draft of the negotiations on Brussels-Halle-Vilvoorde, but the Plenary has been postponed.
Moreover, the CD & V plans to put the split of BHV on the agenda and, if possible, to vote on it, but pressure is supposedly coming from all around, including from the palace, to avoid such a vote which would an aggression for the French-speaking minority. Everything remains possible regarding the future of the Belgian government, but the Flemish Socialists said they would not save it.
