"Another Man" screens at Warsaw

Selected in competition at Locarno, Pusan and Vienna, Lionel Baier’s latest feature will vie for the Free Spirit Award at the 24th Warsaw Film Festival, to be held in the Polish capital from October 10-19.
Produced by Saga Production, Another Man is set to be released in Switzerland and France in January 2009.
Moreover, the film has been sold to Creative Films (Spain), Filmladen (Austria), Axia Films (Canada) and Alliance Lumière (India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka).
The Discoveries section will present Rolando Colla’s The Other Half (Peacock Film). Meanwhile, Kazakh director Sergei Dvortsevoy’s Tulpan – co-produced by Switzerland’s Cobra Film and lauded at Cannes and Reykjavik – will close the festival.
