A unique opportunity: K. Van Mier - E. Davignon Prize

Do you have an interest in writing about European Affairs? Do you write in French or Dutch? Are you a journalist or wish to become one? The European Commission Representation in Belgium is launching the 4th edition of "the Prize K. Van Miert // E. Davignon"! In the journalist category: this prize will reward those who in their day-to-day life make Europe more accessible to citizens.
The theme for this year is "Growth and employment: the EU and the economic recovery". The winner will receive a prize of 2000€.
In the student category: the theme this year is "The EU and Youth: What does the Union means for the younger generation? What can / should be done for young people? ". The first prize is 1000€.
The contribution (written - between 500 and 3000 words - or audiovisual) must have been published (for journalists) / produced (for students) between the 1st and the 31st October. All the information about registration, participation terms and frequently asked questions are available on the website of the European Commission Representation in Belgium.
Deadline to submit your application: 5th November.
