Thursday December the 11th at 7 pm, Cafe Babel.com Brussels invites you to the debate 1958-2008 : 50 years of Europe in Brussels, the assessment at the theatre l'Os à moëlle (av. Emile Max 153, 1030 Schaerbeek).
Frédérique Ries, Member of the European Parliament for the French Community, will present the impact of European policies on Brussels' local life and will also explain her relation with the Belgian voters.
Willy Hélin, director of the Representation of the European Commission in Belgium, will face the issue of the european institutionnal ghetto in Brussels.
Finally, Richard Hill, brittish author of "We Europeans", will talk about the challenges the European intercultural identity is facing in the Europe capital.
