She, a Chinese picks up Golden Leopard at Locarno

The prize-winners at the 62nd Locarno International Film Festival, which was held from August 5-15, for the last time under the artistic direction of Frédéric Maire, were announced on Saturday.
In international competition, the Golden Leopard was awarded to She, a Chinese by director-writer Xiaolu Guo. The Special Jury Prize and Best Director went to Alexei Mizgirev’s Buben.
Baraban and the Leopard for Best Debut Film to Urszula Antoniak’s Nothing Personal (Netherlands/Ireland).
