The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed we have a new writer - we're delighted to welcome the lovely Lia Sanders on board. When not sailing the seas in beautiful pea green boats, Lia studies English literature at the university of Edinburgh, where she writes, dances and dreams between classes. com: What’s your ideal lazy breakfast?
Lia: Preferably a breakfast brought to me on a silver tray by one of my minions who whisk it away as soon as I am done. Although rather like the queen with her tupperware boxes, the effect would be undermined by being used to serve coco pops.

Lia: "If equal affection cannot be, Let the more loving one be me" from W.H.Auden's 'The More Loving One'

Lia: How serious should I go? There's always a chance I spill my deepest secrets and everyone ends up feeling very embarrassed. Um. Ok. My first kiss was in gay club with a man in a kilt.
cafebabel.com: What was the first poem you fell in love with?
Lia: 'The Owl and the Pussycat' by Edward Lear. I used to recite it every day on the way to school.
