According to Italian press agency ANSA, Alice Rohrwacher’s Corpo Celeste is the first Italian film selected for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. The news was confirmed by the delegate general of the Directors’ Fortnight, Frédéric Boyer, who is busy choosing titles for the festival, which will be announced in Paris on April 14 (Competition) and April 18 (Fortnight).
