The second feature by Genevan director Vincent Pluss – who won the 2003 Swiss Film Prize for On dirait le Sud – is among the 17 films set to screen in international competition at the 57th Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival (November 6-16).

Presented at the Montreal World Film Festival and the Namur International Francophone Film Festival, The Noise in My Head takes the form of an interior monologue and explores the encounter in Geneva between a journalist and a young dropout. Produced by Intermezzo Films, the title stars Céline Bolomey, Gabriel Bonnefoy, François Nadin, Frédéric Landenberger and Lucie Zelger.

Co-produced by Zurich-based Dschoint Ventschr and almost entirely shot in Switzerland, German director Tamara Staudt’s Where the Grass is Greener is also in the Mannheim-Heidelberg line-up.
