Today, Walt Disney is launching on German and Austrian screens (through Buena Vista in the second case) the new film by Marc Rothemund (Sophie Scholl – The Final Days), Groupies Bleiben Nicht Zum Frühstück ("Groupies Don’t Stay for Breakfast"), which promises to be as entertaining as its title sounds.

This romantic comedy, produced by Munich-based Sam Film, centres on 17-year-old Lila, whose young dream comes true when she falls in love with a star and has her love reciprocated, without realising he is the singer of the most popular band of the moment. However, Lila’s romantic life turns out to be not so straightforward.

As of today, German audiences will also get the chance to discover the French comedy starring Gérard Depardieu which made festival-goers laugh so much at its competition screening at the Berlinale: Mammuth by Benoit Delépine and Gustave de Kervern (see review).
