CineNet: New network of independent festivals

Twenty festivals of independent cinema are part of CineNet Festival, a new network created to coordinate the many films events that in turn make up a new organic system that, through adequate marketing and communication, can be an intermediary in increasingly more important partnerships and ensure greater visibility to films, festivals and events.

Based on an idea by McCann Erickson and the Laura Morandini Association, CineNet Festival includes national coordination and a board made up of several well-known personalities from the film and culture industries who will guarantee the quality of the choices and initiatives: Adriano Aprà, Marco Bellocchio and Morando Morandini.

The network’s main instrument of communication will be a website that will establish contact between the diverse realities that make up the network, render visible the projects and activities to be developed and stimulate debates on the forum and promote encounters.

The 20 festivals participating in the initiative are the: Arcipelago International Festival of Short Film and New Images (Rome), Bergamo Film Meeting (Lombardy), CineMadeInLazio (Monterotondo, Lazio), Circuito Off Venice International Short Film Festival (San Servolo, Veneto), Corto Dams Festival (Montà, Piedmont), Courmayeur Noir InFestival (Valle d’Aosta), Festival of European Cinema (Lecce), Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Frontiera (Marzamemi, Sicily), Festival Internazionale del cortometraggio (Siena, Tuscany), Farecinema – Bobbio Film Festival (Emilia Romagna), Ischia Film Festival (Campania), LauraFilmFestival (Levanto, Liguria), Lucania Film Festival (Matera and Pisticci, Basilicata), Magna Grecia Film Festival (Soverato, Calabria), Maremetraggio International Festival fo Short and First Films (Trieste, Friuli Venezia Giulia), MoliseCinema (Casacalenda, Molise), Pesaro Film Festival (Pesaro, The Marches), Umbria Film Festival (Montone Umbertide, Umbria), Una Notte in Italia.
