Calm before the storm

It's coming up on 8PM and we've arrived at Cafe en Seine. An entire half of this very popular bar/nightclub has been reserved for the Democrats Abroad, but it's mostly empty now. I have secured a table with a prime view of a large TV where CNN is on. This is the first time I've watched CNN in many months and there seem to be some new features.
I don't know how I would have watched the election without their giant television wall.
I have a glass of Guinness and am going to have - what else - a steak and cheese sandwich before the party gets started here. Fivethirtyeight.com is projecting an Obama landslide. We'll see what happens...
